just thought I'd give this a shot...cool website!
Our family was visiting friends near Valley Forge Park and after the morning at the King of Prussia Mall we went to the Park and checked it out. HUGE and very awe inspiring! It really made us think about what it must have been like back in 1776, in the winter, in those cabins facing the impending battle or sick and freezing. We came home and talked about a lot of things but this little trip really got my kids talking about George Washington's men VS. the soldiers in Iraq right now. After we had our discussion our little one said she wanted to do something nice for the soldiers in Valley Forge Park.
We explained that although that wasn't possible in the year 2008, we could continue to do nice things for the soldiers in Iraq and their families here!

We plan on heading back down to the Philadelphia area for at least one of the events coming up and we've already contacted them to see what we can do as a family.
